The result, in the words of those who trusted us

Testimonials from clients in Portugal and the United States.

  • “Moving from the US to a country you've never lived in is daunting enough, but doing it without ever seeing your new apartment in person takes it to another level. Renata and her team in Lisbon made what could have been an overwhelming experience genuinely enjoyable. [...] They turned an empty apartment into our home. Five stars isn't enough.”

How we work

From the first sketch to a home ready to live in, one point of contact.

Listening first, wherever you are. We get to know you and the space: how you live, your preferences, budget and expectations. On the technical visit we measure the space and record every structural element.

Creative concept, moodboards and layout studies, then the selection of materials, furniture and lighting and the technical dossier. It closes with a detailed budget and the timeline. Nothing moves forward without your approval.

We make the purchases and orders, monitor production, coordinate deliveries and logistics, and supervise assembly on site.

Final installation, carried out with rigour down to the last detail. After handover we remain available to answer questions and adjust whatever is needed.

Every project starts with a conversation.

A detailed fee proposal, no obligation.

Email or phone: either will do.

Renata reads and answers personally, usually within one working day.

Frequently asked questions about interior design projects

How much does a project cost?

It depends on the size, complexity, duration, and type of services included. We provide customized quotes after analyzing the specific briefing.

What is included in the price?

Briefing, concept, layout, moodboard, technical drawings, budgets, logistics, specialized teams, on-site installation, and global monitoring.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope and the size of the home. A full renovation typically takes 4 to 12 months; a turnkey decoration project, 3 to 6. You get a clear timeline at the start, and we keep to it.

Can you manage the whole project while I'm abroad?

Yes. Most international projects run entirely remotely: video calls and clear visual reports at each stage, with an optional on-site visit. You review and approve the design, and we handle what happens on the ground, in English, through to the final installation.

Do you work with clients who don't speak Portuguese?

Yes. Every project is managed in English, from the first conversation to the keys. The atelier also handles the language with suppliers, builders and local services, so you never have to navigate Portuguese bureaucracy alone.

Will you coordinate with my buyer's agent, architect and builders?

Yes. We work alongside them and manage the build on the ground, so one team is accountable for the result.

Where in Portugal do you work?

Across the country. The atelier has delivered projects in Lisbon, along the Cascais coastline (Oeiras, Paço de Arcos, Estoril, Cascais), in Óbidos, Comporta and the Algarve. We work throughout Portugal, including the Silver Coast and the Alentejo, and the team travels anywhere in the country.
